Alton Sterling shooting prompts protests in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) Protesters marched through the streets of Philadelphia calling for justice in the shooting death of Alton Sterling.

Sterling is the 37-year old man from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, who died yesterday after police shot him multiple times. Witnesses caught the whole thing on video.

Philadelphia police say they arrested protesters who blocked the ramp to the Vine Street Expressway. At this time, protests are still happening in front of the 9th Police District.
