Body found in park ‘believed to be' missing Bucks County woman, 21

There may be a tragic end in the case of a 21-year-old woman who'd been missing from Bucks County since the day after Labor Day.

Tuesday afternoon, Bensalem police announced, "Human remains believed to be Lindsey Piccone were discovered at Tyler State Park. The skeletal remains were located by a Tyler State Park staff member as he was clearing vegetation from the park. Pennsylvania State Police investigators and rangers from the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources are currently on-scene conducting the investigation."

Police had reported Lindsey was last seen Tuesday, Sept. 6, in Bensalem and her vehicle was later found at Tyler State Park.

Area police and fire departments, along with K-9 units from the Pennsylvania Wilderness Search and Rescue team, had conducted multiple searches of the park.
