Authorities have corralled a coyote that was spotted in a parking lot in South Philadelphia early Thursday morning.
FOX 29's Steve Keeley arrived on the scene at 16th and Montrose Streets in the Graduate Hospital neighborhood.
A neighbor tells FOX 29 he woke up this morning to officers chasing a coyote around the parking lot before it took up a hiding spot underneath of a dumpster. Police say the first call reporting the coyote sighting came in around 4:25 a.m. when it was spotted near Columbus Boulevard and the River Rink.
Keeley gave the coyote some food. Just after 8 a.m. officials from animal control and the game commission were able to capture the coyote after a few brief foot chases through the parking lot.
