Police: Man pistol-whipped in South Philly home invasion, robbery

Police are investigating following a home invasion in South Philadelphia that left one man injured.

Shortly after midnight, officers responded to the 2500 block of South Marshall Street.

Police say a man was transported to the hospital after being pistol-whipped by suspects who broke into his home.

The three suspects got away with $100 in cash and jewelry.
