Recall: Play yards sold on Amazon could cause serious injury, suffocation

Play yards that were sold on Amazon are being recalled due to a risk of serious injury or death by suffocation, according to an alert from the Consumer Product Safety Commission.

The play yards violate the mandatory safety standards, CPSC said. Infants could become entrapped under the mattress and on against the side, increasing the risk of serious injury or deadly suffocation.

The play yards were sold by Anna Queen on Amazon, the CPSC said.

The recalled products were sold beginning in March for between $100 and $110.

What you can do:

Consumers can receive a full refund by contacting Anna Queen via their email address: tingerservice@outlook.com.

People who purchased the play yards should disassemble the fabric cover from the frame, cut up the cover and mattress pad and email the photos of the destroyed play yards to the email provided in order to receive the full refund. Once the photos are sent, customers should dispose of it.
