Young Eagles fan gets fake arrested for trying to climb pole in viral video

A 4-year-old boy in his DeVonta Smith jersey was seen trying to climb a pole as he joined crowds of Eagles fans in celebration on Broad Street on Sunday night.

One young Eagles fan got caught up in the excitement of a Philly celebration, and found himself getting some attention from law enforcement.

What we know:

A 4-year-old boy in his DeVonta Smith jersey was seen trying to climb a pole as he joined crowds of fans on Broad Street after the Eagles win on Sunday night.

Within seconds, a police officer comes up behind the boy and places his hands behind his back to the roars and laughs of those around him.

It was all a joke, of course, with the officer quickly letting the smiling boy go.

What they're saying:

The true Philly moment was caught on video, which has since gained more than 4 million views on social media.

"Rite of passage. I'm tearing up a little," one fan commented.

Not only is the little man an Eagles fan, his mom told FOX 29's Steven Keeley that he shares a birthday with Saquon Barkley - Super Bowl Sunday!
