Philadelphia seniors celebrate Decision Day and announce what’s next
High school seniors across Philadelphia were honored during a major Decision Day celebration recognizing the Class of 2026 and the next steps they are taking after graduation. Students announced plans to head to college, join the military, enter the workforce or take a gap year. The event, organized by the Mayor’s Office of Youth Engagement, celebrated not just diplomas but determination, resilience and the choices students are making about their future. Graduates also heard practical advice and encouragement from local leaders and changemakers.
