Weather Authority: Rainy Saturday, stormy Sunday before heat returns
The Philadelphia region is waking up to a dreary and rainy Saturday, with temperatures expected to stay in the 70s throughout the day. FOX 29’s Drew Anderson breaks down when showers move through and why conditions could be drier around Philadelphia Stadium for today’s World Cup match. Sunday starts dry before afternoon storms develop, with humidity helping give some of those storms extra strength. Drew also looks ahead to next week, when temperatures could climb near 100 degrees.
