HOPEWELL TOWNSHIP, NJ (WTXF) - Police say two people have died, including a firefighter after a truck and sedan caught fire after colliding in Hopewell Township, New Jersey.
It happened around 1 p.m. Monday on Route 29.
The driver of the sedan and a passenger both died after not being able to escape the car. The driver of the truck escaped without any injuries.
Lambertville Fire Department confirmed one of the deceased was firefighter Mark Leary Sr.
Police are still investigating the cause of the crash.
