JUNIATA (WTXF) - The PPD and the FBI are asking for the public's help in identifying and locating the person behind an attempted robbery at a bank in Juniata.
The incident occurred on August 16 at the PNC Bank branch located at 1001 East Erie Avenue.
According to officials, at 1:00 p.m. the suspect entered the bank, approached the counter, and showed a note demanding more to a teller.
Soon after, the suspect fled the bank empty-handed.
She is described as a black or Hispanic female in her late 39s to early 40s, approximately 5'0" tall, medium to heavy build, dark complexion, with back hair worn in a bushy ponytail and a piercing above the right side of her upper lip.
She was wearing a bright pink short-sleeve top, dark sunglasses, and a black or brown cross-body purse.
The suspect is considered armed and dangerous.
