Fire officials: 1 dead in East Oak Lane apartment fire

EAST OAK LANE (WTXF) - Authorities are investigating a fatal fire at an East Oak Lane apartment.

It happened around 4 p.m. on Sunday afternoon.

Crews responded to the 6300 block of North 10th Street for a fire burning in an apartment building.

Authorities later confirmed that one victim was found dead in the apartment.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
