PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - Philadelphia Police say a man was killed when he was struck by a vehicle as he attempted to cross Roosevelt Boulevard Sunday.
The incident occurred at 2:15 p.m. on the 400 block of East Roosevelt Boulevard.
Police say the 66-year-old victim was ran across the street and was struck by a vehicle that was travelling southbound.
The man suffered severe head and leg injuries and was transported to Einstein Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
The driver of the striking vehicle remained on scene, and has not been arrested, according to police.
