WILMINGTON, DE (WTXF)- Murder charges have been filed for a Wilmington man, who investigators say stabbed another man to death in the middle of the street.
Wilmington police say 25- year- old Calvin Hooker III stalked a young mother and her baby as they walked near 10th Street Monday night.
Detectives say when Hooker pulled a knife on her, another man on a DART bus stepped in to help her.
Police say Hooker repeatedly stabbed 27-year-old Thomas Cottingham, and then jumped on another bus.
Officers eventually found hooker, and used a taser to get him into handcuffs.
Along with first degree murder, Hooker is facing charges of resisting arrest and weapon possession.
