Nether Providence, Pa. (WTXF) - Police in Nether Providence are warning neighbors to keep their eyes open for a suspected prowler. A home surveillance camera caught the man peeking into a house.
A homeowner on the 100 block of Brent Drive turned it over to police after their home security camera captured the person walking up to what appears to be a glass door standing there-just staring inside. It only lasts for a couple of seconds before the person turns and walks away. Police say the incident happened October 17 around 5:30 in the morning.
Police posted it on the department's Facebook page Thursday after they say the homeowner turned it in to them.
Police believe the person in the video may also have something to do with two home break-ins on November 27.
The homes are on the 100 block of Brent Road and the 100 block of Westminster Drive. They share a backyard.
The suspected prowler in the video is wearing a basketball cap with a hoodie over it and a backpack.
Police also say on December 13 a person was captured on home surveillance prowling in a driveway looking to get into cars in the Bowling Green section of the township. However, they don't believe that is the same person captured in the video released Thursday.
