Police: Human remains found in Tioga

PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - Police say human remains were found on the 3300 block of North 19th Street in the city's Tioga section.

According to police, they received a 911 call around 8 p.m. Friday from an owner of a property saying he found a human skeleton on the side of his property.

Police say when they arrived they found the skeletal remains of a person partially covered by a tarp.

Police are still on the scene investigating.
