DELAWARE COUNTY, Pa. (WTXF) - We have fantastic news to share about a puppy that has gone through so much in its few weeks here on Earth.
Duffy, the puppy found in a duffel bag on a hot summer day, is going up for adoption Thursday!
The Delaware County SPCA says the pup is now healthy enough to find a forever home.
The young pup is quite the fighter, having survived heat-stroke and parvo-virus.
Families interested in adopting Duffy should fill out the dog application found at http://delcospca.org/adopt-a-pet/how-to-adopt/ and drop off the completed application to the Adoption Center in Media, email it to Dayna at dvilla@delcospca.org, or fax the completed application to Dayna's attention at 610-565-1176.
Applications will be accepted Thursday, Sept. 24, through Sunday, Sept. 27. A team of people invested in Duffy's care will choose the best candidates and reach out to coordinate "meet and greets."
