15-year-old girl missing in Falls Township; police seeking help

Falls Township police are asking for the public's help to locate a missing 15-year-old girl.

Authorities in Falls Township are urgently asking for the public's help in locating 15-year-old Gabrielle Stevens, who went missing early Thursday morning.

What we know:

Gabrielle Stevens, 15 years old, was last seen leaving her home on Vivid Leaf Lane in Levittown in Falls Township at approximately 3:18 a.m.

She is described as a black female, 5 feet 3 inches tall, and weighing approximately 115 pounds. Her mother says that Gabrielle recently changed her hair color to red or burgundy.

Dig deeper:

During a press conference Thursday afternoon, Falls Township Police Chief Nelson Whitney said that law enforcement and the teen's family are greatly concerned for her well-being. Police believe she may have met up with someone and could be in danger.

What they're saying:

Gabrielle's mother made an emotional plea for her daughter's safe return, emphasizing that Gabrielle is not familiar with areas away from her home. She specifically requested that residents of the Vermillion Hills community check their Ring doorbell cameras for any footage between 3:15 and 3:20 a.m. The family is hoping the footage might reveal what Gabrielle was wearing and identify the car she may have gotten into.

What you can do:

Police and Gabrielle's family are urging anyone who has seen her, or who has any knowledge of her whereabouts or who she may be with, to act immediately. If you have any information, you are asked to call 911 and report it to your local police department, or get in touch with the Falls Township Police Department directly.
