A shootout in University City leaves two men seriously injured.
The gunfire happened around 1:30 a.m. Saturday morning near the 3500 block of Sansom Street.
Two men, ages 29 and 32, are in critical condition.
A witness--with a permit to carry--told police that he returned fire after the suspects started shooting.
The search for those suspects is ongoing.
