NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - Philadelphia Police have released surveillance footage of two suspects involved in the armed robbery of a Temple University Football player.
The incident occurred off campus, near the university's football facility at 10 th and Susquehanna Streets around 1:00 a.m.
Police say a 21-year-old Temple football player was leaving a Chinese restaurant and was headed to his car when he was approached by two men. One of the men was armed with a black hand gun.
The suspects forced the student to the ground, taking his car keys and cell phone.

The suspects then fled the scene heading west on Susquehanna Street in the victim's 2005 Cadillac CTS with New Jersey plates reading #D80EBK.
The first suspect has been described as a black male between the ages of 22 and 24, standing 6'0", with dark complexion and a beard.
The second suspect was described as a black male standing between 5'6" and 5'8" with a light complexion, and a beard.
