Philadelphia police officer shot while responding to robbery call

A Philadelphia police officer is in stable condition after investigators say he was shot in the shoulder by a robbery suspect late Tuesday night in North Philadelphia. According to police, the suspect then shot himself in the head as he fled the scene but he is also expected to survive.
