Police: Armed suspect shot and killed by police in North Philadelphia

Curtis Smith, 33, was fatally shot by police during a foot chase-turned-brawl with an officer Thursday afternoon in North Philadelphia. Police say Smith pointed a gun at an officer which caused the officer to fire at least one time towards Smith. During a fight between Smith and the officer, police say Smith's gun went off which caused another officer to open fire several times.
