Greater threat for severe weather and heavy rain moving in Tuesday

Scattered showers and a few severe storms with damaging winds are expected Monday before a stronger low-pressure system moves offshore on Tuesday. This coastal setup will draw Atlantic moisture back into New Jersey, Pennsylvania and New York, elevating the risk for heavy rainfall and localized flooding.
