Severe thunderstorms move through the region bringing widespread flash flood threats
A powerful line of severe thunderstorms is pushing northeast toward Philadelphia, threatening the area with damaging winds and heavy downpours capable of producing one to two inches of rain per hour. A flash flood watch remains in effect through Monday evening as the persistent, humid storm system is expected to bring continuous rain and cooler temperatures in the 70s into Tuesday.
