Chicken restaurant dispute in Tioga ends with 2 shot, hospitalized

Authorities say a dispute at a Tioga Crown Chicken restaurant ended with two men being shot, including a bystander who wasn't involved in the argument.

The shooting occurred around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday on the 3700 block of North Broad Street. The gunman fled the scene but was caught a short time later following a traffic stop.

Authorities say a man involved in the argument pulled out a gun and fired 11 shots. The man he was arguing with was hit by two shots, while another wounded the 36-year-old bystander.

Both victims were taken to Temple University Hospital, where they were each listed in stable condition. Their names and further details on their injuries have not been released.

Authorities have not said why the men were arguing or disclosed what charges will be filed against the shooter.
