A tornado touched down in Weld County, Colorado near the town of Platteville. Right now there is now word on injuries or damage.

A large tornado has touched down in Weld County, Colorado. 

The tornado is near Platteville and emergency services are advising residents to take shelter. A tornado warning has been put into effect until 5:30 p.m. local time. 



There have been no reports on injuries and the Fujita scale has yet to be determined to categorize the tornado.
