Deadly Lincoln University shooting: Bail increased for suspect
New details emerge after officials provided an update on a deadly shooting that occurred on Lincoln University's campus last weekend.
PHILADELPHIA - Lincoln University and Chester County officials provided updates Tuesday on a deadly mass shooting that erupted as students and alumni celebrated homecoming at Lincoln University on Saturday.

Bail raised for suspect arrested following shooting at Lincoln University
Authorities say a spent shell casing found at the scene was a ballistic match to the gun that was found in the suspect's possession, but they have not determined if any rounds fired from that gun struck any victims.
Jujuan Jeffers, 20, was killed in the shooting and six other people were injured by gunfire. Investigators say those six people are all expected to recover.

Deadly Lincoln University mass shooting: Vigil held on campus; investigation continues
Detectives believe multiple shooters were involved in a mass shooting that occurred during Lincoln University's homecoming that left a 20-year-old Wilmington man dead and six others injured.
One person, Zecqueous Morgan-Thompson, was taken into custody immediately following the shooting and charged with carrying a firearm without a license. On Thursday, the Chester County District Attorney's office announced that the handgun found in Morgan-Thompson's possession was a ballistic match to a cartridge casing found at the scene. His bail was raised to $1 million, but additional charges have not be filed at this time.
Investigators say they have not yet determined if any of the rounds fired from that gun struck any victims.

Lincoln University President Linda Allen lead a brief press conference on Tuesday and offered her condolences to the shooting victims.
"This is an ongoing investigation and we have been working diligently with law enforcement to assist in their efforts," Allen told reporters.
She lauded the Lincoln University community for coming together at a time of tragedy.

"We are also grateful to the students who have taken the lead to comfort one another and to help the campus," Allen added.
