Officer Injured, Driver Arrested in South Philadelphia Crash

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - A Philadelphia Police officer was taken to the hospital after being read-ended early Friday morning.

It happened around 1:00 a.m. on 25th and Passyunk Avenue.

The officer was sitting in her vehicle at the time of the crash.

She was taken to Presbyterian Hospital for minor injuries.

The person who hit her was taken into custody.
