Barricade situation in East Norriton
SKYFOX is live over a possible barricade situation in Montgomery County Monday evening.
EAST NORRITON, Pa. - Authorities in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania say a man was taken into custody Monday night after a large police presence was observed in East Norriton.
Police say they received information Monday that a wanted man was inside of a home on Nottingham Road in East Norriton Township.
East Norriton Police say they requested assistance from Montgomery County SWAT due to ‘specific articulable risk factors associated with this incident.’
The 49-year-old male suspect was taken into custody.
Police have not announced any charges at this time. The incident related to the arrest remains under investigation.
