Investigators say some sort of transaction turned deadly overnight Tuesday, claiming the lives of a 30-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy.

Investigators believe a deadly shooting erupted overnight Tuesday in Philadelphia during a watch sale between a 30-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy.

"We believe this might have been a shootout between the two individuals," a police spokesperson said at the crime scene.

What we don't know:

The motive behind the shooting remains unclear, and police are still searching for a suspect described as a thin male wearing dark clothing.
