PHILADELPHIA - Terminal C at Philadelphia International Airport has reopened after a TSA staffing shortage forced its closure over three weeks ago.
What we know:
A spokesperson for Philadelphia International Airport said Terminal C will reopen on Thursday with regular operating hours.
Terminal C temporarily closed on March 12 as the airport dealt with a TSA staffing shortage due to the partial government shutdown.
Terminals A and F were closed a week later, causing long lines of frustrated travelers to snake through the airport.
Those checkpoints remain closed, but terminals A-East through D/E are open as of Thursday, according to the airport.
The airport is reminding travelers that all terminals are connected post-security, so any gate is accessible from any open checkpoint.
What we don't know:
The airport has not said when A-West and F terminals will reopen.
