Deadly shooting overnight in West Philadelphia
Police are investigating after a man was shot dead in West Philadelphia late Saturday night.
PHILADELPHIA - Police are investigating after a man was shot and killed in West Philadelphia late Saturday night.
What we know:
The shooting happened just before 11 p.m. on the 5800 block of Alter Street.
A 37-year-old man, whose identity has yet to be released, was found shot multiple times throughout his body.
He was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
Homicide detectives are investigating.

A motive is still unknown and no arrests have been made.
An investigation is underway.
