Gov. Andrew Cuomo fired back at President Donald Trump after he threatened to pull federal funding from New York City as part of an effort to target “anarchist jurisdictions.”

In a joint statement issued Thursday, Governors Phil Murphy, Andrew Cuomo and Ned Lamont said their states will continue to prioritize asymptomatic testing in opposition of new recommendations made by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. 

More than 4,300 virus patients sent to NY nursing homes

More than 4,300 recovering coronavirus patients were sent to New York’s already vulnerable nursing homes under a controversial state directive that was ultimately scrapped amid criticisms it was accelerating the nation’s deadliest outbreaks, according to a count by The Associated Press.
