3 teens shot within 4 hours overnight in Philadelphia

FOX 29's Steve Keeley has more on three shootings that left two teens dead and another injured overnight in Philadelphia.

Police say two teens were shot and killed in separate shootings in Philadelphia during a 30-minute span. 

The first shooting happened on the 3900 block of Poplar Street in West Philadelphia around 7:30 p.m. According to police, 18-year-old Nasir Marks was shot multiple times. He was taken to the hospital where he died.

Thirty minutes later, a 15-year-old boy was shot multiple times on the 2500 block of North Sydenham Street around 8 p.m. Tuesday.

The teen, identified as Kanye Pittman, was taken to Temple University Hospital where he died shortly before 8:15 p.m., according to police.

So far, no arrests have been made and a weapon has not been recovered in either shooting.

Police said another teen was injured during a shooting around midnight in Hunting Park. The 17-year-old victim was hit in the legs by gunfire near 6th and West Butler Streets, according to police.

He was taken to Temple University Hospital and is expected to recover.
