20-year-old dog looking for home after owner dumps him at shelter to be euthanized

A 20-year-old dog is looking for a new home to spend his retirement after his original owner dropped him off at Harris County Animal Shelter in Texas and asked for him to be euthanized.

The animal shelter took Radar in, and shared a video of him on October 1, writing, "This little Ewok-looking teddy bear is Radar. It's pretty easy to see that Radar is terrified, confused and wondering where anything familiar went."

Radar was removed from Harris County Shelter by the Animal Justice League in Houston, Texas, where he was seen by a vet who believed he had been neglected and malnourished. Radar received medication for a gastrointestinal infection and a heart murmur and is already improving with improved care in his foster home.
