Calm egret cruises on back of Florida alligator

ORLANDO, Fla. (FOX 13) - When you need a ride somewhere, it's only appropriate that a gator could be an option in Florida.

Jim Schaller was visiting Gatorland in Orlando for his daughter's birthday on December 7, when he noticed a funny and very Florida sight: an egret was riding on top of a swimming alligator.

"It looked like the (egret) was taking a gator Uber," he tells FOX 13.

Schaller captured video of the moment, showing it cruising on the back of the alligator.
