Carson Wentz has strong faith in God after knee injury

PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - Eagles star quarterback Carson Wentz spoke to his fans via Instagram for the first time since his knee injury on Sunday night.

"Obviously it's been a rough day for me… I'm not gonna lie," he said in the video posted to Instagram.

He captioned the post, "Can't thank my family, friends, teammates, and fans enough. Love y'all!"

Wentz spoke about his faith in God. He said he is confident that Jesus has a perfect plan.

He did admit, "I have a ton of faith in the Lord but at the end of the day, it's still gonna be a tough one."

The Instagram video had over 72,500 views on Monday night.
