Early Friday travel through Philly International smooth so far

Travelers at Philadelphia International Airport Friday morning were having an easier time getting to their destinations.

Early airport travel at Philadelphia International was relatively smooth. People traveling reported some short security lines and wait times of an hour or under. Overall, lines were moving smoothly.

Airport officials encourage all travelers to arrive early, allowing extra time for traveling to the airport, parking and getting through security.

AAA reports December 21 as the busiest traveling day of the season. Be sure to follow airport and TSA requirements for travel, which should reduce the stress that often accompanies holiday travel.
