Hatboro police searching for driver accused of striking juvenile bicyclist

Hatboro Police are asking for help to find the driver of a black SUV who they say struck a juvenile bicyclist at the intersection of S York Road and School Road on Monday.

What we know:

Officers say the crash happened in the middle of the intersection, and the driver left the scene after briefly pulling over. The SUV is described as a black Toyota or Toyota Highlander, operated by a white female, with a partial license plate of MTX.

The video reviewed by police shows the SUV hitting the bicyclist, stopping for a short time, and then heading north on S York Road. Police are urging anyone with information to come forward.

Police say the investigation is ongoing and they are reviewing all available evidence, including video footage from the area. 

What we don't know:

Police have not released details about the condition of the juvenile bicyclist or whether there were any witnesses who have come forward so far.
