Police: 14-year-old boy arrested in shooting of 15-year-old in Atlantic City
ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (FOX 29) - Police have arrested a 14-year-old boy who they say is responsible for shooting another teenager in Atlantic City.
The victim, a 15-year-old boy, was shot on Wednesday, Jan. 30.
Atlantic City police say the 14-year-old suspect was arrested on the 600 block of North New York Avenue within 90 minutes of issuing a wanted flyer.
The suspect was found in possession of a loaded handgun, brass knuckles and a smalll amount of marijuana, according to police.
The suspect, who has not been identified, was charged with aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and related offenses. He was remanded to Harborfields Detention Facility.
