Police: One dead in West Philadelphia stabbing, suspect apprehended
WEST PHILADELPHIA (FOX 29) - Police in West Philadelphia say two men wound up in the hospital after a stabbing. One died and one was arrested.
Police were called to the 6200 block of Lansdowne Avenue just before 10 a.m. Sunday.
Police arrived to find a 26-year-old man stabbed several times in the face.
The victim was transported to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
According to officials, a 28-year-old man, believed to be the suspect in the stabbing, walked in to the Penn Presbyterian Medical Center emergency room a short time later. Investigators say he had cuts on his hands. That man was arrested at the hospital.
