Police seek two men wanted in fatal Pottstown home invasion, robbery

Pottstown, Pa. (WTXF) - Authorities in Montgomery County are investigating the murder of a woman who was found dead in her Pottstown bedroom Sunday evening. On Wednesday, police released photos of two men wanted in connection with the deadly home invasion, robbery.

Officers responded to a home on the 300 block of North Washington Street around 6:43 p.m. after a security alarm was triggered at the residence.

When police arrived on the scene, they found 38-year-old Sylvia Williams dead on the floor of a second-floor bedroom. Investigators say she had been shot.

Detectives believe Williams was killed during a home invasion and robbery at the residence.
