Police: Woman bound, abducted by suspects impersonating officers in Northeast Philadelphia

Philadelphia police are investigating an incident in which they say a woman was abducted by two suspects who were impersonating police officers.

The incident occurred on Thursday at 9:15 p.m. on the 6200 block of Bustleton Avenue.

Police say a 25-year-old woman and 24-year-old man were inside a vehicle when the two suspects approached their vehicle.

The suspects acted as if they were police officers, and zip tied the hands of both victims before placing the woman in a car and driving off with her inside.

The woman was later dropped off in front of the 15th police district by the suspects and the man was left at the scene.

Neither victim was injured during the incident. No arrests have been made.
