Yujun Ren, 32, turned himself in after police say he admitted to killing a woman in a car outside a property in Levittown.
PHILADELPHIA - A man is in custody in the fatal shooting of a woman who police say filed a sexual assault report against the suspect days earlier.
Yujun Ren, 32, turned himself in on Sunday after he allegedly admitted to killing the woman in a car parked outside a Levittown home.
What we know:
Investigators say Ren began stalking the victim after she reported the sexual assault to police in Philadelphia and "attempted to end the relationship" on Saturday.
It's alleged that Ren followed the victim on Sunday to a property on Oulook Lane, a residential street in Bristol, where she was found shot inside a parked car.
Police say Ren turned himself in around noon, admitting to the murder and leading investigators to the crime scene.
Ren has been charged with criminal homicide, possession of an instrument of crime, and stalking.
What we don't know:
The identity of the victim was not shared by police.
What they're saying:
Bucks County District Attorney Joe Khan called the murder "a sobering reminder of the lethal nature of domestic violence."
"We are committed to seeking justice for the victim," Khan said.
