Wrestler proposes to his opponent girlfriend in the middle of match

(STORYFUL) - Professional wrestler Joey Ryan took an intergender wrestling match to new heights when, in the middle of the match, he proposed to his opponent, his girlfriend Laura James.

Ryan had previously thrown James against the referee and while she checked if he was alright, Ryan took the opportunity to unwrap the ring from his towel and get down on one knee.

The crowd went wild as James said yes, but Ryan didn't play fair, grabbing James as they kissed to flip her into a hold that ultimately won him the match.
