Phillies' Darren Daulton struggling with brain cancer

The Phillies have confirmed longtime catcher Darren Daulton is struggling in his battle with brain cancer.

Friends and former teammates have taken to social media to ask for prayers for the 55-year-old, who has been battling the disease for four years.

In 2013, he was diagnosed with glioblastoma, which is the same cancer Sen. John McCain is fighting right now.

His nonprofit Darren Daulton Foundation helps pay people affected by brain tumors and cancer.
