Philadelphia weather: How much snow is expected Tuesday?

PHILADELPHIA - From an icy Sunday, to a snowy Tuesday, another winter storm is headed towards the Philadelphia area this week.

Timeline:

Snow and freezing rain coated most of the region this weekend, but FOX 29's Weather Team says even more snow will fall on Tuesday.

The snow will roll in Tuesday afternoon, and continue through the night, before wrapping up Wednesday morning.

By the numbers:

The further south you live, the more snow will fall on Tuesday.

Most of the region is expected to see anywhere from 2 to 5 inches of snow over the course of several hours.

FOX 29's Drew Anderson says it won't be a major snowstorm, but definitely enough to get the plows out!
