Donald Glover reveals his reaction to landing 'Star Wars' role

LOS ANGELES - Donald Glover celebrated landing a role in Star Wars in true Star Wars fan fashion.

Donald Glover is set to play Lando Calrissian in the upcoming Solo: A Star Wars Story and he stopped by the Youtube show Star Wars News for an interview. Glover revealed what he did to celebrate landing the role.

"The day I found out I got [the role] I bought a whole pizza and went home and watched The Empire Strikes Back."

Glover admitted this move jumpstarted his preparation for the role. He also admitted to preparing for the role by "watch[ing] a lot of '70s stuff that I thought would be [Lando's] kind of style."
