13-Year-Old Girl Wins $70,000 SUV in Charity Raffle, Then Stuns the Crowd
(Fox News) - Erin Byrnes is a normal 13-year-old girl who attends eighth grade in Camillus, New York, near Syracuse. But late last month, Erin made an extraordinary gesture. After winning a nearly $70,000 SUV in a Joseph's House raffle, she shocked everyone with what she decided to do with it.
Immediately after winning the Chevy Tahoe LTZ, Erin gave the vehicle right back to Joseph's House, a home for pregnant women, mothers and children.
On "Fox and Friends Weekend," Erin explained that she has been raising money for Joseph's House for more than a year. She babysits there every Thursday with her mother, Jeanie Byrnes.
