6 dead in Baltimore school bus-city bus crash, no children involved

A school bus and city MTA bus crashed in southwest Baltimore, Tuesday morning, and FOX affiliate WBFF is reporting six people are now dead. Also, authorities are confirming there were no children were involved in the crash.

The station also reports five people are being treated for injuries. One is listed in critical condition and four are in fair condition.

Chopper video shows the yellow school bus crashed head-on into the front, driver side of the MTA bus. That crumpled the front of the school bus and ripped the side off the city bus.

The crash happened in the area of Frederick and Monastery Avenue and roads are expected to be closed for hours.

"We are in the process of gathering information on the bus crash," police spokesperson TJ Smith tweeted. "We will advise once we have more. Understand this is a fluid situation."

There was no immediate word on what caused the crash.
