After Family's Clothes Are Stolen, Community Comes Through With Donations

A family in Berlin, N.J., suffered the unthinkable this week- while washing their clothes at a laundromat, they had all of their clothes, minus what they were wearing, stolen, including those of two small children.

However, once the Berlin Police Department got the word out about the family's predicament- including a picture of the Grinch on its Facebook page- donations rolled in, from members of the local community who didn't want the woman's kids to wear the same clothes for three days straight.

The donations continued, as the theft was reported throughout the morning on FOX 29's Good Day Philadelphia.

The story reminds all that criminal acts of evil often seem to be trumped by acts of good- especially at Christmastime.
